Who is responsible
Cristina Neres, psychoanalyst with clinical training at the IBPC, in New South Wales, Australia. For anything on this page, the ways to reach her are on the Contact page — WhatsApp and Instagram go straight to her.
What is kept when you read
Nothing. This site has no tracking cookies, no advertising and no analytics of any kind. Nobody is counting your visits or following you around other sites.
What is kept when you comment
The nickname you choose, the comment, the date, and your email if you write one — which is optional. The email is never published, and it does not even leave the server for people reading the page: only Cristina can look it up. The nickname does not have to be your name, and that is deliberate.
If you sign in with Google
The site receives three things from Google: your profile name, your picture, and the email address on the account. The name and picture sign the comment; the email is never published and serves only to let the site tell that the comment is yours. Nothing else is asked of Google — no contacts, no calendar, no Gmail content, no files. Commenting with a nickname, with no account at all, remains the main way in and asks for none of this.
Where all this lives
In a Supabase database hosted in Sydney, Australia, and the site is served by Vercel. Nobody else has access, and nothing is sold, rented or shared with third parties for advertising.
For how long
A comment stays up for as long as you want it to: there is no automatic deletion and no hidden expiry. If you ask for it to be removed, it is removed — actually deleted, not hidden. Replies hanging from it go with it, because without the comment they were answering they stop making sense.
What you can ask for
To have your comment deleted, to have something corrected, or to know what is held about you. Write and it is done — no need to explain why, and you will not be asked.
What this is NOT
A public comment is not a consultation and is not covered by the confidentiality of a session: it stays visible to anyone. Please do not write health details here, or information about other people. If you are at risk right now, the immediate help lines for both countries are at the foot of every page.
About the writing on this site
The open letters and the rest of the site are hers. You may quote with credit and a link; copying whole pieces, no. The clinical scene that appears on the site is a composite — no identifiable case appears here.
