Sessions

Three ways to begin

All sessions are grounded in the same foundation: psychoanalytic listening. What differs is whether tarot is part of the work and whether we meet for a single session or engage in an ongoing therapeutic process. Sessions are available online worldwide and in person for those in New South Wales. If you're unsure which option is right for you, feel free to get in touch — we can decide together.

Psychoanalysis

For those seeking deep, ongoing therapeutic work without tarot.

This is talk therapy in its fullest sense. Through regular sessions, we create a space where thoughts, feelings, memories, and relationships can unfold at their own pace. Over time, recurring patterns begin to emerge — often ones that have been shaping your life without your awareness. Psychoanalysis is not about quick solutions or immediate answers. Its value lies precisely in the process: meaningful change develops gradually, through sustained attention, reflection, and the therapeutic relationship itself. Because of this, psychoanalytic work is designed as an ongoing journey rather than a one-off session.

Length
50 minutes to an hour
Fee
$90

The session includes

  • A 5-to-10-minute check-in: what stood out in your week and how it felt
  • Analytic listening, and questions that go underneath what you're telling me
  • We finish with something practical when it fits: a breathing or grounding exercise for tense moments, or a relaxation practice to take with you
  • Online or in person, your call

Psychoanalysis with Tarot

For those seeking the depth of psychoanalysis with the added language of symbolic imagery.

The foundation is exactly the same: psychoanalytic listening and an ongoing therapeutic process. The tarot is not used to predict the future or provide answers. Instead, it serves as a symbolic tool that can help bring unconscious material into the conversation when words alone are not enough. At times, an image can reveal something that has been felt but not yet named. The cards offer another way of approaching thoughts, emotions, and inner conflicts, always in the service of the therapeutic work — not as a replacement for it. Tarot is introduced only when it feels meaningful and appropriate, never as a starting point or an obligation.

Length
50 minutes to an hour
Fee
$90

The session includes

  • A 5-to-10-minute check-in to start
  • Psychoanalytic listening as the base of the work, session after session
  • Tarot used as projective material — an image to give shape to what has no words yet
  • A close with an exercise or a visualisation to take with you
  • Online or in person, your call

Tarot Consultation

For anyone who wants one focused session now, not a process.

No commitment, one session. You bring whatever is on your mind — a decision, a feeling, a place where you're stuck — and we use the cards to look at it from another angle. It isn't predicting your future; it's getting some clarity about your present. It's a one-off: no sequence, no ongoing process, no next appointment hanging over it. If you want to keep going afterwards, the other two formats are still here.

Length
50 minutes to an hour
Fee
$75

The session includes

  • A single session, with no sequence and no commitment to continue
  • A focus agreed at the start: the question, the decision, the stuck point
  • The cards read as a mirror of your present, not as a forecast
  • Online or in person, your call

Tarot doesn't read your future. It throws light on your present.

What a session is — and isn't

It is

  • A psychoanalytic process. Every session is grounded in psychoanalytic listening and informed by my clinical training at the IBPC (Brazil), completed three years ago.
  • A space for reflection. When tarot is included, it is used as a symbolic, projective tool. The cards are not there to provide answers, but to help bring thoughts, feelings, and unconscious patterns into dialogue. Like an ambiguous image, they invite reflection — they are not psychological tests, they measure nothing, and I do not administer or interpret psychological assessments.
  • Work that unfolds over time. In both psychoanalysis formats, continuity is part of the method. Insight and change develop gradually through regular sessions.
  • A place to understand your present more deeply. The aim is not certainty, but greater awareness of yourself, your relationships, and the patterns shaping your experience.

It isn't

  • Not fortune-telling. I do not predict the future or provide dates, timelines, or certainty about what will happen.
  • Not a promise of outcomes. No form of therapy can guarantee specific results, a cure, or personal transformation.
  • Not medical or psychiatric care. My work does not replace treatment provided by your GP, psychiatrist, psychologist, or any other healthcare professional.
  • Not a regulated health service. I am not a medical doctor, psychiatrist, or an AHPRA-registered psychologist. Psychoanalysis is not a regulated profession in Australia, and I do not present myself as a registered health practitioner.
  • Not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate distress or at risk of harming yourself or someone else, please contact emergency services or one of the crisis support services listed at the bottom of this page before seeking an appointment.
  • And if you're at risk right now, the helplines at the foot of this page come before any of this.

Preparing for your session

  • You don't need to prepare a question or arrive with everything figured out. If there's something specific you'd like to explore, we'll begin there. If not, we'll start with whatever feels most present.
  • For online sessions: choose a quiet, private space where you can speak freely. Use headphones if possible. Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
  • For in-person sessions: please arrive a few minutes early. The practice address will be included in your booking confirmation.
  • You may wish to keep a glass of water nearby, and perhaps something to write with if you like to take notes, though there's no expectation that you do.
  • If you're currently seeing a GP, psychiatrist, psychologist, or another mental health professional, please let me know at the beginning of our first session. Psychoanalysis can work alongside other forms of care, but it is never a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment.

Working together

I believe it's better to be clear about the practical side of the work from the outset. That way, our sessions can stay focused on you, rather than on questions about how the practice operates.

Confidentiality
Everything discussed in our sessions is confidential. I do not discuss your case, use your story as an example, or share your records with anyone. The only exceptions are those required by law, including situations involving a serious and imminent risk to your life or someone else's, concerns about the safety of a child or vulnerable person, or a lawful court order.
Records and Privacy
I keep brief clinical notes and am the only person with access to them. Online sessions take place via secure video call and are not recorded — either by me or by clients.
Who I Work With
I see adults aged 18 and over. I do not offer sessions for children or adolescents.
Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule a session, please let me know as soon as possible. Whenever I can, I'll be happy to offer another appointment time without any additional fee.
Cancellations and Refunds
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply, and nothing in my terms limits those rights. Beyond that, my cancellation and refund policy will be provided in writing before your first appointment and forms part of your booking agreement. If you are booking from Brazil, any applicable rights under the Código de Defesa do Consumidor also remain unaffected.
Punctuality
Sessions begin and end at the agreed time. If you arrive late, the session will still finish at its scheduled time. In psychoanalytic work, maintaining this frame is part of the therapeutic process.
Payment
Fees are charged per session in Australian dollars. I do not offer packages or subscription plans. Payment instructions are included in your booking confirmation.
Scope of the Work
I offer psychoanalytic listening and, where appropriate, the use of tarot as a symbolic and projective tool. I do not prescribe medication, make medical diagnoses, or provide psychiatric treatment. This work is intended to complement — not replace — any medical or mental health care you may already be receiving.
Professional Standards and Complaints
In Australia, I practise as a non-registered health practitioner and follow the New South Wales Code of Conduct for non-registered health practitioners. If you have concerns about my professional conduct, you are encouraged to raise them with me in the first instance whenever you feel comfortable doing so. You may also make a complaint to the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC), the independent body responsible for handling complaints about health services in New South Wales.
If it's urgent
If you're at risk right now, don't wait for a session. In Australia: Lifeline on 13 11 14, 24 hours; if life is in immediate danger, call 000. In Brazil: CVV on 188, 24 hours, free; for emergencies, 192 (SAMU) or 193.
